Kenya, lying on the equator in East Africa, is twice the size of Nevada.  Of the 31.6 million population, 80% live on the high plateau in the southwest.  Swahili and English have been the official languages since Kenya gained independence from Britain in 1963, although 55 languages are spoken in the country.  It is said that 80% of the people are "Christian."  Great liberty is granted for all gospel work.
