Honduras is a little larger than the state of Tennessee, with 60% of the 6.9 million people living in rural areas.  Although the Spanish-speaking population is overwhelmingly Roman Catholic, liberty to preach the Gospel has been evident for many years.  Assembly testimony began in 1898 with Christopher Knapp, one of the first assembly missionaries in Honduras  There are now over 255 assemblies, as well as 26 full-time national workers.
